A man came in, a bit flustered, followed by another man and a woman who looked visibly distraught. Immediately the energy changed from pleasant and mellow to confusing and tense. I watched the woman carefully, really wanting to know if she was okay and seriously thinking of asking if I should come back another time.
Writing: Just Do It
Writing about writing has always been one of the ways I tear myself out of a particularly persistent writer’s block. So here we are because I haven’t written in an obscenely long time to write about how annoying it is to not have a real writing schedule and having no one to blame but myself. Fun!
IT Chapter 2: A Review (SPOILERS)
I had such high hopes for the sequel because I genuinely enjoyed the first one, and this one really has so much potential! I really love the actors in this movie and think they did an awesome job, but I guess I was just expecting something well… different than the homophobic, awkward, baby-hands filled almost 3 hour predictable jump-scare fest it was.

There were extreme circumstances that heavily impeded on any type of formality or normalcy. It was survival mode, terror, shock, grief that pushed me so far outside of my comfort zone and kept me there all these years. After that day I was never the same.
I Stan
Stan culture is not new, but has evolved immensely from when I was a kid. Though I was not involved with or even fully cognizant of “stanning” when I was younger, it popped up in seemingly insignificant ways when I heard people arguing about who they liked more, Britney or Christina, boy band faves N*Sync or Backstreet Boys, who was the better dancer, Janet or oh I don’t even know who they would try to compare this goddess to, etc.
